Research fields:

(1)My research focuses on the efficient catalytic conversion of C1 molecules, including CO2, CO, CH3OH, and CH4, for energy and environmental applications. I develop new catalytic materials, interfacial engineering strategies, and reaction regulation approaches to overcome the challenges of high activation barriers, complex reaction pathways, and poor selectivity in C1 conversion. By integrating precise active-site engineering, in situ/operando characterization, kinetic analysis, and theoretical calculations, I elucidate the evolution of active sites and key intermediates, establish structure–activity relationships, and develop strategies for selective C1 activation and high-value carbon-cycle conversion.

(2)Catalytic conversion of biomass is crucial for the sustainable production of energy and value-added chemicals. My research focuses on developing advanced catalytic materials and reaction strategies to overcome the challenges of complex biomass structures, diverse reaction pathways, and the trade-off between activity and selectivity, enabling efficient and selective biomass valorization toward practical and industrial applications.
