Research fields:
Dr. Ding’s research interests focus on the functional design, synthesis, and catalytic applications of covalent organic frameworks (COFs). Through the strategic application of reticular chemistry, a range of functionalized COF architectures has been constructed, with a particular focus on their potential for the photo- and electrocatalytic conversion of carbon‑ and nitrogen‑containing small molecules into clean energy. The results of this research have been published in in leading international journals, including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and Chem. – Eur. J.
