Teaching Profile

I serve as the lead instructor for a diverse range of courses, including Medical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry Experiments, Interesting Chemistry Experiments and Chemistry in Modern Life. I have been honored with over 60 Awards or Nominations for Excellent Teaching Quality at Nanchang University to date.

I am the lead instructor of 1 national first-class undergraduate course, 2 Jiangxi provincial first-class undergraduate courses, and 2 Jiangxi provincial high-quality online open courses, and also the course director of Organic Chemistry Experiment, a first-class undergraduate course at Nanchang University. I have presided over and completed 3 provincial-level and 2 university-level education reform projects, and has published numerous research papers on teaching reform—one of which earned the High-Level Education Reform Paper Award of Nanchang University. Additionally, I have won the Second Prize of the Jiangxi Provincial Teaching Achievement Award twice and the First Prize of the Nanchang University Teaching Achievement Award four times. I have compiled three textbooks, among which Organic Chemistry Experiment (2nd Edition) was awarded the Second Prize of the Excellent Textbook Award for Colleges and Universities in Jiangxi Province at the 6th session.

Led over two scientific and technological projects at provincial and departmental levels, and participated in two national fund projects and two provincial natural science funds.

 

Research projects

Led over the project of Jiangxi Provincial Department of Health: Exploration of the influence of active ingredients in the traditional Chinese medicine liquorice on the mechanism of ADH enzyme activity (2022A371);

Participated in the project of National Foundation of China: 8-hydroxyquinoline-based receptor molecule conformation and its application in solar cells (21861025);

Participated in the top-level project of Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation: novel triazolium fluorescence chemosensor to recognise phosphate anions in aqueous phase and in life (20171BAB203009);

Participated in the top-level project of Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation: screening of unknown target proteins of microcystin-LR and the mechanism of their toxic effects on mammals (20181BAB204003).
